The approach is rooted in Lawrence Chin-Albert’s expertise in exercise science, functional training, and rehabilitation, integrating both physical and mental well-being. The goal before surgery is to help clients achieve optimal health to enhance surgical outcomes and reduce potential complications. The pre-op program includes: 1. Weight Management: Tailored fitness routines to facilitate gradual weight loss and prepare the body for surgery. Emphasis on low-impact exercises to reduce joint stress. Resistance training to preserve muscle mass while losing fat. 2. Nutritional Guidance: Focus on a high-protein, low-glycemic diet to stabilize blood sugar and support metabolism. Hydration strategies, ensuring clients consume at least 80 ounces of water daily to help flush toxins and reduce inflammation. 3. Mobility and Functional Training: Programs designed to improve balance, flexibility, and stability to ensure post-surgery mobility. Muscle activation techniques to enhance neuromuscular coordination. 4. Psychological Preparation: Mindset coaching rooted in spiritual encouragement, helping clients shift from “I can’t” to “I can,” based on Philippians 4:13. Support in establishing realistic goals and building confidence.
