Dr. George earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo and later completed his Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His postgraduate medical training includes: • Internship in Family Medicine – UC Irvine Medical Center • Residencies in Clinical Preventive Medicine & Occupational Medicine – UCLA • Fellowship in Emergency Medicine – New York University (NYU) • Fellowship in Sports Medicine – American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM) Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. George has served in numerous high-profile medical leadership and sports medicine roles, including: • Team Physician for the Los Angeles Ballet • Physician for Los Angeles City Police & Fire Departments • Team Physician for Cleveland City Stars Professional Soccer Team • Clinical Faculty, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (2007–2012) • Occupational Medicine Physician – Cleveland Clinic & University Hospitals Dr. George’s clinical expertise spans musculoskeletal medicine, injury prevention, functional rehabilitation, workplace health, emergency response, athletic performance optimization, and preventive health strategy. His work emphasizes early detection, corrective movement therapy, injury prevention, and performance longevity. As a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM), Dr. George is nationally recognized for integrating evidence-based medicine, biomechanics, neuromuscular function, and exercise science into patient care and performance systems. Role with FitSpirit & Ohio Movement Initiative (OMI) Dr. George serves as a medical collaborator and clinical architect for the FitSpirit Healing Through Movement System and the Ohio Movement Initiative (OMI).
